I started a small bookkeeping business in 1987 on a part time basis, using contacts I had made whilst working in the oil industry.  The business has grown significantly over the years, with increased staff levels, additional services available, and a wider range of clients.  In 1999 we bought our current office premises in Banchory and changed the name of the business from Banchory Bookkeeping Services to BBKS & Co Accountants.  Qualified Accountants were brought in and a Tax Department was established.  In 2002 we were the winner of the Sir Alick Buchanan Smith – Spirit of Enterprise Award sponsored by The Royal Bank of Scotland.  I am extremely proud to be part of a team that bring a high level of knowledge and experience along with approachability and friendliness to all our clients.
